Kiosk

Modern kiosks use computers for a better self-service experience. Thanks to recent developments in IoT, kiosk applications are divided into two primary categories. First, public information kiosks allow you to get information, typically related to the installation location, like a mall or airport, and provide directions and answers to frequently asked questions. The other is application-specific kiosks, such as ticket vending, passbook updating, and drive-thru machines. All kiosks reduce labor costs, offer various useful services, and through real-time interactive screens, provide 24-7-365 service. Outdoor kiosks are different from general indoor kiosk, which need to be stronger and more durable in a harsh environment. Outdoor kiosks have become the first choice for retail and other verticals like transportation, education, tourism, and a host of other applications.

Customer Requirements & Why Cincoze?

Built tough, to withstand the outdoors
Wide temperature tolerance of -20–70℃ is the first feature. The CRYSTAL product line uses a tough die-cast aluminum alloy and has a 7H scratch-resistant touch surface. The front panel is rated IP65, ensuring that it's waterproof and dustproof, shielding sensitive electronics from the elements.

Super-bright backlight, for clear daylight visibility
The backlight has a 1,600 nits rating, providing ample screen brightness for reading, even when the sun is shining bright.

Multiple I/O ports, for wired and wireless connectivity
Native I/O ports include USB 3.2, LAN, Power over Serial and more. The internal expansion consists of a Mini PCIe slot and SIM card slot supporting wireless communication modules for WiFi, 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G wireless network connectivity requirements.

Various styles, for different environments
Screen sizes range from 8 to 24-inch and all have multi-point projected capacitive (P-CAP) touchscreens. Various mounting methods are supported, including flat mount and panel mount, for comprehensive coverage of every application scenario.

Convenient maintenance, reducing down-time cost
The patented CDS technology allows separate upgrade and replacement of the computer module and display module. This approach reduces downtime and maintenance costs as only the faulty part needs replacement, not the whole machine. This upgrade flexibility means that whether there is a screen size upgrade or a computer specification upgrade, the only thing to replace is the display module or computer module, keeping upgrade costs in check.
