One of our customers is a leading provider of automated guided vehicle and material handling solution, requiring an embedded computer to be integrated with its new factory AGV. The company planned to achieve higher efficiency in factory logistics by deploying more than one hundred of the new AGVs.
Customer's Demands
The vision-guided AGV required an embedded computer to connect cameras that capture and build three-dimensional views of the factory and warehouse. The embedded computer should offer enhanced graphic processing power in a low-power and fanless design to perform 3D image acquisition and processing.
The computer should also be made small and lightweight for fitting into the limited internal space of the AGV and capable of withstanding harsh shock and vibration conditions. Moreover, isolated digital IO, COM ports, and wireless availability were necessary to control other components or communicate with the management center.
After serious analysis and comparison, Cincoze DA-1100 was finally selected by the company as the control system of this factory AGV.

Isolated Digital IO and COM Ports
The DA-1100 is designed with the innovative Combined Multiple I/O (CMI) for flexible expansion to satisfy diverse application requirements. The computer can be added with up to 8x Optical Isolated DIO (4 in/4 out) and 2x COM ports for the motion and sensor controls of the AGV.
