Our customer is one of the world's leading suppliers of air suspension and is a specialist in plastics technology. Its suspension systems are widely used for rail car vehicle undercarriages, including high-speed and intercity trains, metros and trams. High-quality air springs provide damping by controlling both vertical and lateral movement. This brings comfort and stability to the passenger and also helps to reduce noise. To produce quality air springs, this manufacturer improved its operation by deploying industrial panel PCs to provide visualized data and facility monitoring throughout the entire manufacturing process.

The production process of air springs is under certain shock, vibrating, high temperature or dusty environment. The field operator wears heavy-duty gloves to operate an industrial panel PC to control the changes in temperature and pressure precisely during the vulcanization of the rubber.

The real-time manufacturing data will be generated at once from the industrial panel PC and sent to the plant manager's office. The plant manager can oversee production profiles and alarm events that could affect product quality.
